I've had some clear craze itself and wasn't sure how to sand it without sanding through the paint...... I went at it with some Comet and an old tooth brush (that has more uses than you can imagine...). That may work on your crazing there. Just scrub it smooth, and put one more coat on of the color. I really like these little cars! Where do you plan to source the wheels for it?

Yea, this one is a little far out to be a 'mild' kustom! Usually mild to me means without a bunch of body work (chopping, sectioning, and such....) Here's some more builds, I tag my finished models to have them all in one place......... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/tags/jollysipper/

So, here's how it looks! The finish is all "blushed" because I haven't cleared it yet. It's not perfect by any means...... I screwed up on the doors. I may have to strip them and redo.

I spent this evening masking what I want to stay gold. Looking at it now, I should redo the doors........

I've got a bit of a surprise in store for you guys as far as the paint job goes, if I'm able to pull it off...... It involves a gold basecoat, though!

Thanks, David for the comment! Today was primer day, after a good bit of cleaning the body parts of flash and such. The primer didn't turn out as uniform as I would like, so this will get wet sanded with #2000 and some soapy water, then hopefully one more coat should even things out..... That's where I am today! I hope you guys enjoy looking in......
