1966 is the best looking B body Plymouth...

You guys want to give me some opinions on this? It's something I've been working on in MS Paint......

Days of Thunder Revisited.

Talladega Nights (The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) on the other hand, was almost a documentary........ -
Thanks, Guys! I've learned a Bunch in the time that she's been with me..... I had to pick one of the more challenging dogs as my first one on my own! She's past all the antics, now she's more a love sponge............

You've all seen the show dogs on television having to be "poised", their chin up and their tail straight out behind them........ This is a bull terrier standing 'poised'.... My Bull Terrier is doing just fine, by the way! She's in about her 11th year, been with me for 5.5 years........
-
Thanks, Anton! Foil isn't that difficult to work with........ One way you could learn to work with it is to use it to mask the trim for the black around the windows. It does an excellent job masking things......

First onomatopoeia, now alliteration?

You know, I thought about that earlier on, painting the rear headrests like the seats, but for some reason didn't...... You're right tho, it would look better. It's an Enthusiast Models kit, from that series....... This is my first EM kit, I hope I am doing it justice.......

Thank you, Carl my friend! Glad you were able to get caught up.......

DupliColor makes a vinyl dye........ It's in the section with the other DC products, in a tall can..... (I'm assuming it's that type of vinyl?)
-
Thanks, Anton man! Here's some more progress on the body......... Working on the trim, now. There's supposed to be more black trim around the side windows, but I couldn't figure out how to do it cleanly, so I just skipped it...... Hope you guys enjoy! Please comment freely.......

Ganja is kinda harmful in some ways, but soooooooo helpful in others.....

I can't help but think that the color I painted this Impala is very close to what's on the Imposter! It's DupliColor Bronze Wheel Coating. I bet you could test it over different bases and get the color spot-on!

Looks like they're squatting to pee! We're both in NC, so I bet a lot of what you see, we have it here.....

I've gotten a newer computer recently, and had no way of showing the pics of my progress. I've gotten a memory card reader today, so I'll attempt to post the paint job that I've given this...... I've only seen one of these cars in green, I kinda like the way it turned out. Thanks for lookin' in, and comment freely!

Snickers ice cream in the tub by Breyers is really good, but nothing beats the Snickers ice cream bars.

Need to do just one more test to see if I can attach a pic that's on a flash drive...... Cool! I guess that worked............

Why are decals lifting off after application?
JollySipper replied to bh1701's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Are you sure you aren't using the solutions in reverse order? I would think the Microset would go on before the decal..... The Microsol, I think, is to snuggle the decal down after it's dried...... I've read that the Microsol can wrinkle the decals and make it look like they're ruined. I guess that's how it works, softens the decal so it will conform to the surface..... -
Mammals on the Discovery channel is something you should shield your kids eyes from......

"Girlfriend is Better" was a big hit for Talking Heads.

JC Reckner (afx here on the forum) hasn't been on in about 6 weeks. He's one of the better builders here. Anyone have any idea what happened to him? I know he's a MAMA member, maybe someone in that club knows?

I don't know if there is anything like it in the automotive repair shops, but when I was a house painter, most places that mixed paints had a type of color reader that showed what colors were needed to achieve the target color.......... It just read a sample. Maybe there is an auto repair shop near you that could read the paint on the model and mix you a small bit from that?

Association with model builders can either spawn creativity, or lead to insanity!
