  1. A car that I've not built before............
  2. I've never seen thi smagazine in the UK, Iwonder if they export to the UK? How much are they at your end please?
  3. Superb build going on here 935k. This was one of my favourite cars back in the day, when I marshalled at the Silverstone Circuit.
  4. Superb build, so authentic! I saw the CR5 when at Le Mans a few yaers ago. In practice at the beginning of the Mulsanne Straight you could hear the CR5 coming before you saw it.
  5. Cheers Gary, these are very difficult to get over here, so we have to grab the chance whenever we see one!
  6. Continuing my 'Woody' theme, I've just won this on ebay UK, It's says 'Woodie' on the box although there's no sign on the box art. I've found one at a USA show which is the delivery van with wood so I'll copy that.
  7. Thanks guys, yes it turned out very well! Now I have to look for another crazy kit!
  8. Superb Erik, thanks for posting that. It's just 3 years before I started by Marshalling 'career' at the Silverstone Circuit here in the UK, meeting most of those drivers, and hundreds of others including royalty over nearly 30 years at the circuit.
  9. Thanks Bob, yes I've seen surf dudes in Australia like that, one was at our resort behind the front desk! He wore long surfer shorts every day and I think he did surf lessons on the 34 mile beach 100 yards from our resort!
  10. Thanks guys, real cool build, great fun!
  11. Cheers Dave, I always, if I can. go for the weird and wonderful!
  12. From 'on the Workbench', the final pics.................
  13. See final pics..................'Under Glass'.
  14. Update..........Well.........because the chassis and everything else is askew, not square, I've had to shave off and bend the floor to fit. Then you have the problem of the tailgate not fitting, but guess what...............it did! And a tatoo and earing for the driver........... a few flames.......... and the horn and rear light fit.................... and of course there are only exhaust manifolds, so I attached some ally tube to finish the exhaust off. More tomorrow hopefully.
  15. Yes John well spotted!
  16. Yes that's right Hemi er...... John.
  17. Hi 426-Hemi, When you look at the box art you immediately notice the rear wheel closest is off the ground that's the way it's made. Superb! Crazy!
  18. Yes Dave it certainly is. Imagine trying to build a car with a twisted chassis/frame, that is this kit!
  19. Part started from ebay UK again!
  20. As I'm waiting for various printer ink cartridges to be delivered, I'm building this indoors instead of in my garden cabin workplace..................... Floor in............. Rear Door..........
  21. The Slixx decals really make it stand out, well done. But I've just looked on their site and these don't appear.
  22. Wow very nice indeed!
  23. As a regular Bathurst supporter here in the UK, I'm going to try and pick this up from somewhere this weekend. I may have to wait until next week to see highlights on Eurosport or Motors TV, both here on Sky TV.
  24. Hey cobraman, do you happen to have a photo please?
