  1. Mooneyes Superb! Love the Moon Discs.
  2. Just beautiful! Is it 1/24 or 1/25 scale, rather than 1/35?
  3. Absolutely fantastic! I built the JF Resin Metro truck last year, with a similar finish. I don't know if Ice Man Collections ship to the UK, but it may be too costly for a pensioner.
  4. Thanks Robert yes a Tamiya kit would bring quality!
  5. Cheers Dennis.
  6. Thanks guys, I didn't expect interest so quickly, thanks.
  7. Having built a few of these over decades, and having one on the shelf, following my Porsche build series recently. I added a scratchbuilt rollcage and alloy exhaust pipes. I've canted the kit number decals at 45 degrees on the bonnet and engine lid, just to be different. Having had problems previously with fitting the engine lid I added it before the body chassis connection. A couple of previous ones, built leaving out various chassis, axle parts due to difficult builds of this kit. and a rat rod, barn find, daily driver!
  8. Yes I did that and it worked, unfortunately having a garden cabin, the door was open a few days later and blew the whole thing onto the floor. So most of the build is in pieces and the chain, which was the first hurdle is also in about 40 bits! So back in the box for now.
  9. Superb! I'm trying to build one with just the body shell to start with!
  10. Very neat! I should like to get hold of a body like that.
  11. Superb! I always love watching OZ races on TV from here in the UK.
  12. Thanks Mike. Yes the rear deck lid was a problem with mine previously. I just cut off the hinges and did the same as you. I did see a pick up version on one of the sites recently so may leave mine off altogether!
  13. Hi Mike, I've thought about this kit as it's on the shelf. It's washed and ready to build, can you tell me what page in the WIP Section it's on please, just to remind me of the drawbacks!
  14. Great Idea! It's a pity your not here in the UK, You could've towed down our street for a party!
  15. Well done! It looks great. A kit that I built many years ago when it was first released.
  16. Thanks Robert. Yes everything is going up in price but we don't get anything extra for it!
  17. Cheers Larry.
  18. As I'm running out of paint, I'm not spraying many builds unless I have enough to do a few top coats on each build. This kit has very few detail parts. I had to fill in the back section with a plasticard sheet, otherwise you could look right through the space between the body and flat chassis plate. Anyway easy to build with just a touch of matt black brush work here and there. A local model shop is now selling small Revell spray cans for over £10! Oh plus postage.
  19. Love the Ford Consul Capri Classic. A neighbour had one brand new in the day!
  20. Groovy!
