  1. Thanks Sam, yes it's the same model of BMW our youngest son had, but his was red.
  2. This is mine, the Monogram Sand Crab..
  3. Further to above photo.. Test fit body with glass before adding bonnet and front and rear bumpers,
  4. As an ex-race and rally marshal it's interesting to see the late Ferrari F1 driver Gilles Villeneuve in the driving seat in the coloured picture, but Ferrari owned Lancia at the time so must have used him as a test pilot. Walter Rohrl in the black and white photo was one of their full time drivers.
  5. Good stance, super rims.
  6. Cheers Chris.
  7. I'm building a new kit from NuNu/Belkits, a BMW M3 1991 race car.. Today the interior paint, fit out with roll cage..
  8. I'd forgotten this! Ebay UK just shouted for me to pay up! Something more for the shelf!
  9. Yes I've opened the box and checked and tested the light box, and what a great improvement. I sometimes take my photo's of completed models in the kitchen, or the cabin where I build them or out on the deck, but it has been all down to light and weather, well this sorts it all out! So the light box, coloured backgrounds and a carrying case. You can also adjust the LED's lighting brightness. Oh and it's 30CMS square.
  10. I saw one of these on a WIP thread somewhere, so as my settings are only temporary with various pieces of white coated wood, I'll invest in one of these. A PULUZ Light Box..
  11. Superb Jim, keep up the good work!
  12. Thanks David.
  13. Thanks guys. Yes he tried a quick getaway so I sent him to the naughty corner! The top colour is how we colour convertibles here in the UK. Sand, Dark Red or Grey. Of course we also boring standard Black or Dark Blue.
  14. Cheers Carl.
  15. Thanks Chris, a kit that I've been looking for, for some time.
  16. Cheers guys. The paint is Tamiya Gun Metal Grey and the top is sprayed Acrylic Sand.
  17. Really Neat!
  18. Thanks Oliver. The kit is good with working steering and the decals come with it.
  19. Built box stock, I've just added alloy tube exhaust extensions..
  20. Superb! We don't see many of these kits in the UK and the shipping to import them is $30 each!

    Rat Rod

    Neat!
  22. Brilliant!
  23. two for my 73rd birthday a few days ago.. and although in 1/35th scale I'll build it as a surfboard transporter..
  24. I'm into 'Surf Stuff' in a big way, so found your 'rebuild' brilliant! I don't know the kit as we in the UK never saw many 'original' custom kits here. I like the Canada flag /Maple Leaf logo one of your best parts of the build, well done!
