  1. As standard, green matt finish Tamiya spray paints, wings/fenders cut out and new wides fitted... It already has wide wheels, lowered suspension and stretch tyres. With decals. The kit has one sheet of decals but with both a choice of black or white plus white or silver front and rear windscreen decals. The tyre decals which I laid up last were interesting that they lie with the inner side on the wheel rim and the rest on the tyre! Oh if you are thinking of building one, fit the chrome exhaust tips after you fit the body!
  2. Thanks guys, and thanks David for the info. We had until recently two USAF airfields about ten miles from us. All we saw on the roads were blue Chevy vans taking folks to the railway station and the odd Hummer, but they nearly took up the width of our narrow roads!
  3. Thanks Travis, yes parts are a bit testing to say the least!
  4. A waste of time posting!!
  5. Cheers Chris.
  6. The kit depicts the Paris-Dakar winner of 1989. I bought the kit when it was first available in 1990. Mini dio............
  7. Nice Starion , a friend used to rally one, when they first came out!
  8. The dullcoat spray I use says 'do not use decals'.
  9. Superb! and in my favourite Tamiya colour.
  10. Nice one Eric! I too fit the Fujimi roof rax.
  11. A bright yellow 70's Dodge Challenger, blasting out of our local BP filling station.
  12. Bought this when it first came out in 1986. Built it initially as a rallycross car, now they are re-appearing at classic rallycross meetings. Resurrected the decals, large ones OK some smaller ones not so. It has full engine/transmission details.
  13. Very good! I built one of these last year, scratchbuilt most of it except the body (of course). I also bought one of Scale Productions, roof racks and Hiroboy's opening front Safari windows.....
  14. The 1300 Dolomite is about 1980/1981. A neighbour here had a yellow one!
  15. Yes that's a 1972, as the British plates are still on with the last letter 'K' on front and rear! I see a bit of rust under the front passenger door! My brother had a new Austin 1300 in the day, it fell apart over the next 5 years or so, completely rusted out!
  16. Well just fantastic Benito that is one classy build!
  17. Thanks guys. Yes these old Lindberg kits are very basic some with two sided plastic 'tyres' and very little detail, so you have to add something else/different!
  18. I have built this as both a road and TROG (The Race of Gentlemen Sand/beach race) car. So with fenders/wings and windscreen for the road............ And as an old-timers beach racer (TROG)......Fenders and windscreen removed and a tonneau cover over the passenger seat.................
  19. Delivered today another ebay buy for £8 plus postage... Possible race car?
  20. From 14th April. Another Lindberg Pick-up to rebuild and one more Lindberg Ford Fooler from ebay UK
  21. Superb Jay! I looked at this kit and the decals you used and here both the kit and decals are nearly £28 each! So built up and finished is £56! As a pensioner that's way over the top! My Ford GT90 was delivered today ( £20 including shipping off ebay) so as it's a road car I'll have to look in my decal stash and see what I can use, perhaps Kellogs Nascar or Monster Energy or Ford Rally or paint it black and white camo, or whatever!
  22. Thanks Rusty, the Kamov KA-52 sounds good! Twin rotors too!
  23. Thanks Jay, so being in the UK, it should be out here! I've got a Ford GT90 on the way. A road car kit so it'll be converted to a race car! We have a team based at the Silverstone Circuit about 5 miles away running a few Ford GT's in the World and European championships.
  24. Very nice, which model manufacturer does it come from please?
