  1. Thanks Ron, no that's true that this colour combo isn't seen that often but as the body came already in black there needed to be a shot of colour to improve it!
  2. Thanks Jim, I must admit I thought it a bit over the top afterwards. But I also enjoy the contrast of colours.
  3. I was offered this to save. It came already painted Black so I wanted to contrast it with yellow. I added seats, wheels/tyres, exhausts, sun visor and as my stash of engines are all too big I scratchbuilt a bonnet and sides...and moved the lights to the top of the front wings.. A bit garrish but that's modelling!
  4. Cheers David. I'm glad you like them.
  5. Superb Corey, your Dad is a great builder/modeller!
  6. Thanks Mike. Yes I understand a number of manufacturers have released this kit, some are heavily armoured, this one not. It does give some rockets and structures to hang them but most of these in this release are not armed at all.
  7. Thanks Classicgas. It's 1/72 scale.
  8. Brilliant job Matt. I've part started one where not much goes together, so when I've got more time I shall try and finish it!
  9. Built box stock although the instructions are pretty vague. I then Googled the real thing to get close ups of particular part positions. I don't build many helicopters so although they suggest building the rotor assembly OK, but don't fit it until everything else is done including the decals. There is a full interior, and four choices of this subject on the decal sheet.
  10. Six new Aston Martin Vantages! As the Aston factory is just 20 miles away it must be an owners club!
  11. YES, YES and more YES Juha, great! Super SAAb and Vespa combo! We had (about twenty of us) tuned Vespa's and Lambretta's, short chopped exhausts(no baffles) and fuel injection............... in the 60's that is!
  12. Super job, super raft, super everything!
  13. Wow, wacky idea, looks good!
  14. Great sparkle, fantastic paint! Saw them racing in the day, superb!
  15. Well Bruce your doing a great job, I've met Arie when he was over here at Silverstone where I was a marshall for a bit over 25 years! As soon as I saw Provimi Veal I had to look in, I saw this on TV in the UK in the day, but was out 2 years ago visiting our eldest son outside Calgary, then my wife and I went up to Alaska!
  16. Thanks JimB. I'm not so keen on the long wheelbase version. Thanks Bill.
  17. Thanks Steve. There are so many different box arts from Lindberg. I had no box as it was part of two, one of which was already started. This is the photo when it was delivered, with the same art on the instruction sheet showing the same decals. So yes it could well be. The decals were unfortunately far from usable.
  18. Cheers Dennis.
  19. Ho Dann thanks!
  20. Coming along nicely!
  21. Thanks Bob & Larry.
  22. Thanks guys. When this kit was delivered unstarted, there was another in there 60% built but still bare white plastic. The chassis with the completed engine fitted, floor board fitted, as were the back and front axles, but the cab was bare, with windows fitted, so painting the engine, seat, interior was interesting! Here they are, both finished..................
  23. Paint by Plasti-Kote, Humbrol and Revell. Decals from stash. Alloy tubing. Surfboards from collection. Windscreen decals from Rat Fink. Palm Trees from Nail Art.
