  1. I've got a Pyro Gee Bee I need to get motivated on. It's an easy build, but it keeps getting bumped. (The box says 1/32, but it's not. The pilot figure is 1/32, but the actual plane scales out to about 1/26 or so.)
  2. Anybody recognize this little number?
  3. I can certainly understand hurting so bad and wanting to end it, but to make it someone else's horror and transfer the pain to an innocent 3rd party is inexcusable, the definition of selfish wallowing-in-self-pity.
  4. I'm thinking there must be a link between the open-kimono concept and the identification and accessing of low-hanging fruit... Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but I'm not a native business-speaker.
  5. I think any woman driving a convertible while shaving rates at least that. Gives a whole new meaning to "multitasking".
  6. And for an extra point...
  7. I just love to hear office twinks using phrases like "war room" to describe their highly 'stressful' workplaces, too. WAR room? Really? Ever seen war up close and personal? It doesn't have much in common with a day spent sitting on your butt, yapping on the phone and staring at a monitor while you drink bottled sparkling water and lattes.
  8. Any luck at all, it was one of the little thieves in the video.
  9. Coming together nicely.
  10. Good lines, flows well.
  11. Use white PVA glue, no problem. It's a non-solvent based adhesive so it won't attack detail. Plenty strong enough to hold lenses, dries to be absolutely invisible if you use it right...and it's easy.
  12. Hmmmm...no idea, but I do see styling elements from several more familiar cars, so maybe that's a way to find it.
  13. I always thought Barbara Stanwyck was one of the sexiest creatures ever created. She wasn't extraordinarily pretty or stacked or flashy, but man, she sure did it for me. Maybe it was the combination of brains and strength that always shone through her characters, even when they were wicked to the core.
  14. Probably been mentioned before, but "needs used" or "needs folded" or "needs washed" should really be "needs TO BE used" etc. It's common usage now, and just like "irregardless", it's still considered "non-standard". It grates on the nerves of anyone who uses the language a lot and tries to use it right. "Prolly" for "probably" and "dizzy" for "distributor" really bug me too, but I guess those extra syllables can be just SO tiring to have to deal with, and after all, like, everyone else says it. Doing what everyone else does is always cool, right? Baaaa baaaa.
  15. Perfect stance, which is a real rarity when these get built. But I'd expect nothing less from you. Looks great.
  16. Yup. Judging by the wrapped headers, the single 4-bbl manifold, the short race-style belt runs, what looks like a non-production fabricated sump and the manual gearbox, I'd think that's exactly what it is.
  17. I'd stand on a box any day to be nose to nose with Sophia Loren...though I could probably suffer through toes to toes.
  18. Much better roofline. Yeah baby.
  19. My bad. Shave first, then put on the makeup...though I actually have seen a woman shaving her legs while driving. Electric shaver plugged into the cig lighter, top-down convertible Fiat.
  20. Very nice. As I'm sure you know, the AC body borrowed several styling elements from the Carrozzeria Touring-designed Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta, most notably the sculpting around the grille.
  21. Specially if you're eating, drinking hot coffee, shaving and putting on makeup while dictating the morning's presentation introduction...
