  1. The NASCAR/Regal build should be pretty cool. I've been wanting to do something similar for the heck of it. Keep up the good work
  2. Oops-I made an assumption of their origin based on the package. My bad. Also, HLJ offers most, if not all of their products.
  3. No kidding! No retailer should ever make a customer wait that long for anything. Ridiculous doesn't begin to describe it. Knowing how their website works, he was most likely billed before the order was processed. Hope there is resolution in the near future.
  4. Awesomness!
  5. You nailed this one! Love the color/roof combo. Pairing of a couple of rare options for the T/A if I'm not mistaken.
  6. Nice build. Say, didn't these cars come out of the show room with this kind of rust?
  7. I'd drive it just the way it is! Nice work.
  8. Hope you post pictures of the process-I'd like to see it in more detail. I know there are different ways of achieving the look, but I always like to find new tips. Keep up the good work
  9. I have mixed feelings about dealing with Strada Sports. They certainly offer quality products for a niche modeler’s market. If you order from them, follow a suggestion posted on here (can't recall when or by whom), always check inventory levels first before ordering! With My first experience, I placed an order on-line and paid in full for a Studio 27 GT40 detail set. Accepting the fact that ordering parts from USA into Canada takes some time, I followed up with on my order after 6 weeks to see where things were at. On my second attempt to reach out, I received a response that the parts would be ordered from Studio 27 ( in Japan) in a bout 3 weeks from that point. Wait – WHAT!!? After 6 weeks and my cash in hand, my part wasn’t even on order to the vendor? You may guessed that I promptly asked for a refund and received one, but only after being criticized for not respecting that they have a minimum purchase they need to place with the vendor before they ship the parts. I do understand and respect dealer agreements with the vendor, but that’s not my problem. Especially if there is no communication to advise my purchase is on backorder. I have cautiously ordered parts from Strada at other times, but I made sure to email and inquire about stock levels before submitting the order on line. Those experiences have been more pleasant.
  10. That's different - can't wait to see more
  11. I like it! The "glass" in the hood is a creative feature
  12. I've used parts from Hobby Design in the past for other kits. Some of the best quality PE you can buy. They are a Japanese company and usually focus on Japanese cars. Nice to see them branching out to NA vehicles. Their products can be pricey, but usually worth the extra cost. Love to see a review of this set.
  13. Congrats - you should be proud of this one!
  14. Nice work - you nailed the details. I especially like the attention to detil on the hydrauilc lines and load holding valves for the boom.
  15. Yup - the KPGC110 is the exact car I bought this kit for.
  16. My only complaint about this pack is the scale of the seats. They look too small and goofy in a 1:24/1:25 car, especially compared to the box stock seats found in the Nostalgic series car kits. More detail on the carbs would be nice, but I haven't seen an OEM kit yet that makes detailed side drafts, so I can live with this.
  17. Real nice progress
  18. +1 for originality!
  19. nice build it has elegant lines and nice details
  20. Cool VOlksRod
  21. Awesome build - keep up the good work!
  22. LOVE IT! Not sure if I would do this to the 1:1, but the visual texture is awesome.
  23. Wow - for a parts box special, that turned out real nice! Be proud of this one
