  2. It should be identical, Bill.
  3. You never know, it all depends on what sort of demand there is. However, seeing that the old AMT plug is still selling after dozens of reissues shows it would be a kit with market potential. The Snap-Tite kit is actually quite nice, even though the options they replicate are a bit unusual: not many came with Powerglides from the factory! (IIRC, the 1:1 car Revell used belonged to tbe late Roger Harney, who was a long-time kit designer for Monogram and R/M.)
  4. I want one. I also want the Tamiya 205 rally kit I could never justify buying as a teenager, but now I can afford to be a completist!
  5. I'd buy one to go with my built-up Nordic.
  6. A really fascinating article! I've always thought about getting some of the 1:9 Protar bikes, but never felt I was up to the challenge.
  7. The hardest part may be to find an accurate engine, since 1948 was the last year for the L-Head V8 engine. Plenty of early OHV Cadillacs out there, but can't think of any aaccurate L-Heads (unless the military manufacturers decide to do a 1:24 scale Chaffee...
  8. I picked mine up earlier this week. You won't be disappointed.
  9. I just received my order in the mail today. The grilles look fantastic, much better than the originals.
  10. Good haul of kits. The majority of the cars are pretty decent builds, though I keep buying and selling the Bad Actor. Nostalgic enough to own, but not enough to build it. The Delta is a pretty neat aircraft. I've had the opportunity to see the remains of the only surviving RCAF example at the CASM. It's a bit creepy when you realize it is essentially a coffin, but I'm glad it still exists as a historical artifact (the a/c crashed in the opening days of World War II, and was not located until the late 1950's).
  11. It looks fantastic, hoping to get an order in soon!
  12. There was an article on this car (or at least the recreation of it) in an issue of The Rodder's Journal from back in the late 2010's. IIRC, it was known as the Hollingsworth Nomad, after its' original builder. The real car was repainted at some point, and was known to last reside in British Columbia (also from an issue of TRJ).

  14. I have been able to keep myself from buying the 1:12 rally cars, because I already have good 1:24 models of those kits. But a Fulvia? That could get me interested...
  15. I would love to see both kits reissued by Tamiya. The last Rally version I owned had twisted windshield pillars, and was unable to fix it.
  16. I'm hoping for the '73, but the body style I really want to see is the notchback coupe.
  17. I remember getting the Big Bad Van as a birthday present, must have been somewhere in the 8-10 year old range at the time. I can't remember what happened to it (probably glue-bombed to death), but it would be nice to have a reasonably priced one to build.
  18. Missing Link used to have a '69 Cutlass convertible available, but I don't know if it is still in the catalogue.
  19. Glad I can finally stop looking around for a '60 Nomad; nearly impossible to find at shows. Hopefully an ElCamino is in the works, as the majority of them that have survived have every included part glued to the poor kit! I see that the Barracuda is being described as a '64 1/2 and a '65. As I already have a '65 kit in the stash, I hope we get the '64 with the Valiant script.
  20. Last month, I was fortunate to find the 1:24 Lanz Bulldog kit when I was on vacation. Really nice kit, planned to build it to go in with the rest of my tractors (also still mostly unbuilt!). However I now need to find a closed-cab body for this kit. Would also like if someone would print the figures from the photo as well...? Any help appreciated!
  21. I'll probably get one, because I remember the real cars on the road. I think the Tercel was more popular here becase: a) it was larger inside, and b) it had Front-Wheel Drive.
  22. Has anyone seen confirmation of this, or is this a prank? And if real, when are the race versions appearing? I want one in the Pfaff Motorsports 'lumberjack' scheme! ? https://www.scalemates.com/kits/tamiya-24370-porsche-911-gt3-rs--1573765
  23. Great video; I wish Atlantis or Revell would reissue this series of kits. I've had the T-Bone Stake for years, but rarely see the other kits on sale. The missing vehicle in the range was Der Guber Wagen.
