  1. Here is the fender. Obviously I am not done painting.
  2. More progress is being made. I have a second coat of paint on the body. While not a perfect paint job it is better than I usually can manage so I'm satisfied. I've added the holes to the rear fender and back of the body. These will be emphasis they should be on the unequipped car. It looks decidedly naked this way but it is how Ford did it with the entry level car.
  3. Does anyone know the 2017 date of this show?
  4. Woodlights are definitely the way to go here. This is a stunning model in every aspect.
  5. Here is the new dash to compare with the previous posting. You will see just a switch and carb/ choke control. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.
  6. The unequipped Ford was a strange beast indeed. It came with non-demountable tires oil side and tail lanterns no starter, no generator and no ammeter. To replicate this dash I have scratch built a new dash adding a choke/ carburetor control. It is crude in comparison to the kit dash but that's how Ford made this one.
  7. I believe I am going to have to buy this kit. It looks fantastic.
  8. This is my first WIP of 2017. My New Years resolution has been to clean up abandoned WIP projects. This is part of my set of the Improved Fords of 1926. This car will be a model of the 2009 MTFCI Stynoski winner that was a sister ship to my own car. It represents the "unequipped" heavily advertised $260 Ford. More about that as we go. I'm using AMT, Revell and Jimmy Flintstone parts on the one.
  9. I'm kicking myself that I did not order more. I bought a Metropolitan convertible and found it very easy to work with. Seems hard to imagine that other resin casters would not be interested in their product line.
  10. I was hoping to get a look at this one tonight. It is a stunning model. I wish it was sitting on my shelf among my models!
  11. Wow. Great colors on this. Once upon a time a 32 Phaeton showed up at the Street Rods Nationals North in Kalamazoo. MI. I was waiting tables at the time and the car was parked outside the window where I was working. I had about one minute to run out and check out the car. It was exactly the same color scheme as your model. Amazingly, it was powered by a Jaguar V-12, had a 5 speed transmission and fully independent Jaguar sourced rear suspension. Your car makes me think of that car and smile.
  12. You guys are doing my heart some good. I thought I was the only snails pace builder on this site. This is indeed a great model. We'll done.
  13. I am very impressed with the quality of your work but also stunned by just how fast you seem to be able to turn these models out. Amazing.
  14. Very nice indeed. Looks like you need to buy stock in the Evergreen plastic company! Seriously, this is going to be a real beauty.
  15. Now that is impressive. Looks like.the real ones I've driven. The work I see here just keeps getting better all the time.
  16. I have been following this thread with interest. I am stunned by just how good this model really is. Absolutely beautiful work on a drop dead gorgeous subject.
  17. Very cool all around. I have the box but have not seen the set built. One thing I always thought was odd is that AMT took the upholstery of the stock T over the tops of the doors. Otherwise one can get a pretty decent model out of that kit. Thanks for posting this one.
  18. If this isn't the best build up of this kit in existence, I'd like to see the model that is! FABULOUS Harry!
  19. I keep looking at that tool box. It is really a work of art. I can't help wondering how a balloon gondola basket would look on the deck.
  20. This has to be the finest example of this model extant. I had a lot of fun with this one as a high school student but would love to take another crack at it as an adult. No doubt my efforts would pale in comparison to your own.
  21. This is really impressive. I am really enjoying watching this one. Your woodgrain work is beautiful.
  22. Great work as usual Art.
  23. Here is a kit I never knew existed and exceptionally well done too. Bravo!
  24. I can't add a lot to what the others have said. Great models with unique yet appropriate color schemes. Very well done.
