I have two 1960 Lincoln convertible bulitups. And currently looking for a 1959.
I wish there was a 1958 in stryene,,,,But,,,,now that I know there is one available i might have to get a resin 58
I don't believe this paint scheme was ever on a 1970 ( or 1971 ) Challenger back in the day ,,,until the current day built replica shown above. My understanding is it is NOT a former DLI car ,,but merely a tribute . Either way the built model looks killer
Its a pretty dark blue.( non metallic )
When I did mine I think I just used Testors dark blue rattle can.
This is mine, done well over 20 years ago. Using a R+R resin body and Johan for the rest
I was wondering if Round 2 would re-issue this car. And will buy a few for the stash .. Just because Unfortunately I have an original issue and this will knock the originals value down considerably
I have an MCW 65 Plymouth AFX car I also have the same from Speed City Resin, The Speed City Resin car is heads above the MCW kit quality wise . Dont get me wrong its not bad and very buildable ,,,,, but not Modelhaus quality . On the other end of the spectrum I have a R+R 65 Dodge AFX that I doubt I'll ever use
I present proof. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-BUILT-PARTS-JUNKYARD-LOT-OF-MODEL-CAR-Trailer/131651077154?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3De949b3f82bd34671a8b86431165d9bdb%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D131650396882
Love it. Sad part is you can find a distressed promo cheaper than you can typically buy a built-up 1968 Olds 442 . That's one car that brings good money built or unbuilt. Myself I have been casually looking for one to do just this .
