  1. Captain Picard had an iPad... back when Next Generation first aired in 1987. Checkmate.
  2. Sorry to burst the bubble, but each and every model kit ever produced is "awesome" to someone!
  3. So many great subjects and companies, swallowed by the sands of time.
  4. Very cool! I've wanted to try this many times but never took the plunge. You make it look easy so now I gotta try it!
  5. I don't understand why anyone living in the united states would want one. With the power those things have, my guess is it's illegal to take it out of first gear anywhere but a race track!
  6. You are not alone! I don't know how many times i've woken up and said to my self "Why oh why didn't I take the blue pill!"
  7. Crazy realistic weathering guy. Mucho Kudos! B) B)
  8. I just saw the show yesterday where he was putting the finishing touches on the real one. Apparently the kit comes with a scale guitar too.
  9. That's awesome Rich. Congratulations!
  10. Cool! Thanks for that bit of history Gabriel.
  11. Very true John. Even the Petty team tended to shun them except on the smaller tracks. IIRC, they only used disks on the front end, and only onshorter tracks during most of the seventies. On restrictor plate races they continued using drums all the way round.
  12. You are entitled to your opinion. As far as i'm concerned yes, it was a B movie.
  13. So two guys got Camaro's and another got a Funny car. I wonder how many different kits were used for this? (yes "used" was a pun ) Anyone get anything different?
  14. Brake wear-out was a major problem in those days and probably accountable for at least a third of on track and pit road accidents.
  15. So there really was a kit? I mean the guy showed pics of a bagged model but I kinda thought this was one of those homemade boxes made as a gimmick or something. Well i'll be a monkey's uncle!
  16. I ran into this ebay ad today and couldn't believe my eyes. What do you think guys...is it hokum?
  17. Or a Dodge under it.
  18. Most resins come in white or tan and can be dyed to other colors. I was hoping to find a supplier who has neons so that I can cast some upcoming projects in neon to help reduce the amount of paint work.
  19. Fifteen years, and not a speck of rust onya! That there is a beautifull build! Welcome to the forum, here's a four outta five for your first build out the gate. B)
  20. The 350 Golden Commando was copper colored.
