Sometimes the best solutions are the most obvious. Thanks for telling me what to do with that roll of Press and Seal above my work bench. The lacquer thinner tip is also another obvious solution. Thanks for pointing it out, Kevin.
Yes, but not immediately. I just get another one out and use it.
I don't use them all the time. Just when I'm trying to, as the thread title says, "dispense thin glue precisely".
Here's the solution I came up with. I've been using it for about 1 1/2 years and it works great.

Thanks for the reply, Doug. I looked at what they had there and there are so many different grits. They list 36 as coarse, 100 as medium. What is 400 like on plastic?
I'm a big fan of Hobbylinc as well. One other source is to sign up for the Hobby Lobby newsletter. You'll get a coupon weekly for 40% off on regularly priced items. They don;t carry a lot of the models I like but I did buy a Fireball Roberts 57 Ford for less than $15. You can print and use the coupon for one item per visit. I always have the wife buy something when I need to. I buy Tamiya primer there as well as other odds and ends for modeling.
Some of the kits I've accumulated are pretty old with yellowed decals. I know they'll bleach out when exposed to direct sunlight. I've heard of spraying them with clear. What do you use, lacquer or enamel or Future? Is Micro Industries decal film better? Opinions?
I have about 75 kits in my stash. Many of them seem to be older kits. Some of them have dates on the instructions. How do I determine when a kit I have was manufactured and which issue/reissue it is? I've got quite a few Tamiya kits and can't find any sort of date on the box or instructions.
