This is a kitbash of the AMT '65 Lincoln Continental and '62 Thunderbird, with a few other parts box doodads tossed in for good measure. At first, I had planned to stretch the T-Bird chassis under the stock Lincoln body. Then I had to see how the Connie would look with the tonneau from the 'Bird. I thought it looked pretty good... but then I wondered how the Lincoln body would look cut down to fit the T-Bird wheelbase, with the doors lengthened, etc.. The engine is the T-Bird FE with top end pieces to make it look like an MEL- totally inaccurate, but it looks conviincing enough in the engine bay, where the block and timing cover aren't readily seen. I used the T-Bird's interior, with the Lincoln's dash modified to fit. And yes, I used the optional big diameter wheels from the T-Bird kit. Don't like 'em? Too freakin' bad. :P

Paint is Testors Mystic Emerald/White Lightning.

Very cool, and good looking to. Just need to know what kit them wheels came from? I do like what you did.............Nice!

In his first post, he said they were the optional custom wheels from the AMT 62 Thunderbird kit. You can see them on the side of the kit box. Looks like they could be good for a lot of kits.
