I've been sketching out something very much like this since the mid/late '80s. Been wanting to try building one in model form. Wonderful to see someone has done it in real life!

As long as no real restorable Mustang was destroyed to make it, I like it!

Well the best thing is that it has a Ford engine in it and not a Chevy small block. The grille shell is kinda funky. It dosen't make me want to throw up in my mouth.

Might be more interesting if it was done with a late 50's Vette.

I almost hate to say this, but its not that bad . Maybe in a different color it would be good / better.

I'm not a flat black kind of guy . But I'd paint it a different color and drive it for a summer. Then right back up for sale in the fall

I made sketches like this based on Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, and a couple others. But my big problem was always the radiator/grille. It's very difficult to incorporate the late-model design elements with a radiator that looks good on a traditional roadster-type frame. Would like to see a better shot of the front of this but it looks like this guy might have come up with a workable solution.

I kind of like it and the Ford engine makes it even better...

I like it, I think if he had taken a little more time to incorporate the front of the car into the design, it would look much better.

I like it, but could have done something different with the windshield.

Agree completely. Should have gone with something more Mustang-y.

And wouldn't it be cool if it had a removable hard top to turn it into a coupe?

I like the idea and agree with the comments about the windshield.

The engine is also just too meek, oh and that master cylinder.

The car w/that cop-out flat black paint job just ruins it for me.

Gary Campesi has been drawing these types of cars for years

tho it is difficult to pull off these kind of cars off in full size for sure.

I personally would like it more w/a paint job that says "Mustang".

as I see it, looks they simulated or used the  first 6-8 inches of the front fenders with a filler piece in the center to create the radiator surround.

I recently saw a 64/65? Chevy done in a similar fashion though the body was not narrowed to quite the same T-bucket extreme and have seen similar ideas in a few of the Rat Rod dedicated parts of the internet. This seems to be some new trend in the more offbeat car kulture( you know with a K) crowd and that probably explains the flat black paint.
