Dave Van Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Hit two Ollie's Friday while traveling. Beckley WV: ZERO new, Wacky Racers and missle kits. Lewisburg WV: The Atlantis run, AMT Miller trailer, Mixer truck and CAL race team all at $25. Picked up the race team. 3
HomerS Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Local Ollie's didn't have any of the Great Dane trailers but did have a case of the 1/16 Ford Thunderbirds. 1
slusher Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Mine had 4 trike some Atlantis plane no race team a couple trailers..
Robberbaron Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) Hobart, IN store had nothing new yesterday. Same old Atlantis non-auto kits and some Wacky Racers. The unfortunate side-effect of them opening more Ollies stores is that the overstock kits get spread thinner as the number of stores keeps increasing. Over the last couple years, most of the Round 2 overstock stuff that I've seen posted in this thread never showed up at my local store. Edited February 9 by Robberbaron 1 1 1

I wonder what what their formula is for dispersing kits out to the stores( IE each store gets 2 cases of kits) or even if there is one. That'd explain why some guys are striking gold and I'm finding an expired bag of potato chips LOL 2 2
1930fordpickup Posted February 10 Posted February 10 The Alexis road store in Toledo has the Atlantis stuff and the cobra plane. They also have White truck and trailer ( yes I know it is Atlantis), the Taco trike along with the Polar Lights Galileo Shuttle. That is 25.00
RSchnell Posted February 15 Posted February 15 (edited) Merritt Island, FL Ollie's had the Drag combo, some semi trailers and Cement Mixer. I got a couple of the Drag combo. All were priced at $24.99. So much for the days of $7.99 kits at Oliver's! It looks like the Atlantis stuff they have in stock ain't movin at all. One thing of note, the dates on both the kits I got are from 2022, so these ole girls have been sitting in a warehouse for a while! Edited February 15 by RSchnell 1
Mark Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Just as I thought...a few items hit the shelf right after the Valentine's Day themed coupon expired. Kenworth mixer, 1/16 scale '57 Thunderbird, Falcon drag team, and Sandkat dragster. I grabbed one each of the latter two. Still wish they'd get some Duplicolor sprays in, though... 2
Dave Van Posted February 22 Posted February 22 2/22/25 Ollie's Lewisburg WV. Restock on Miller 40ft van and these two. 1

Robberbaron Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Still the same old dreck at the Hobart, IN store. Haven't seen anything new there in months.
espo Posted February 23 Posted February 23 The Overland Park Kansas Ollie's doesn't carry kits any longer.

Just like they don't always have the brand of pretzels I like. They are a close out chain. SIDE NOTE: the Sci Fi guys are seeing Star Trek kits showing up. The STOS Shuttle is one that has been seen I want.

It was almost a year ago that I bought a kit at the local store, and they haven't had any in stock for over 6 months. Not sure how they distribute the models to the stores, but this one has only the really small die cast toys.
ewetwo Posted February 24 Posted February 24 My Ollies had the drag combo and the AMT 1964 Mercury Marauder kit.
RSchnell Posted February 24 Posted February 24 The Ollie's in Lakeland, FL used to get a good assortment of kits, but I haven't been to that since I moved to the coast. The Merritt Island, FL that I frequent usually has a good assortment, I may stop by Saturday when I go to the grocery store & see if they have anything else out laid out. Not that I need anymore kits. Similar to parts for old 1:1 Fords, you better get it while you can because less & less stuff is being reproduced for the stuff I have interest in. Model A's, '32 Ford, 55-56 Fords.
ranma Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Flyer came in the mail today, has a Model buyout on it. Sadly the local one here only got a few Transit mixer's and a WW II Torpedo bomber plane kit. Added to the non selling Nike Missle kit's
1930fordpickup Posted February 26 Posted February 26 North Toledo store has cement mixer, 1/16 thunderbird, sand cat dragster, 64 drag team( Falcon and Galaxie with trailer), 70s Vett funny car looking thing.
