harti20 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Hello This is my first contribution to this forum. It's a Ferrari 250 GTO by Revell with the PE set by HobbyDesign and Hasegawa's Spoke Wheel set for the Ferrari 250 Testarossa. Building took about one year, as dealing with PE parts was completely new to me. Regards,Urs
RestoModGuy Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Excellent work on this build. Well done finish and the PE looks great.
unclescott58 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Wow! Looks great. Nice job and let me be the first to welcome you to the forum.
sjordan2 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Spectacular. Great job, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Harry P. Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Sure is dark in here. Let me turn on the lights... Oh, now I see it! Very nice.
Crazy Ed Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Good looking Car Urs, and the Art style Photography (although a bit dark) was really nice.
GTJUNIOR Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Beautiful. I have the same kit in my stash. Saving it for when I feel confident enough in my skills to do it justice. Hopefully mine will turnout as nice as your's. Thanks for sharing your build with us.
bbowser Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Well done, welcome to the forum. Looking forward to more builds from your bench!
Silver Foxx Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 A really nice build , this looks great , well done .
Nacho Z Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Welcome to the forum! PE parts may be new to you but it looks like painting is something you have down to a science. Gorgeous! Pictures are very nice too.
Yahshu Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Very nice, wonder if you would get close to the 54 million I seen a 1:1 go for recently
MrObsessive Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 VERY nice job on this! GTO's are one of my favorite Ferraris and you did a quite excellent job on getting the PE bits and pieces on. I have the original Protar kit that this kit was............. it can be a bit fiddly with those doors, but with patience (which you certainly have!) can be made nice.
harti20 Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Hello everybody Thank you for your replies. I'm glad you like my GTO Beautiful car. Any engine pics to share? cheers, tim Yes, I have found some from the WIP I made. (For those who are interested, you can find one here in german).
