I had to strip the body and hood multiple times and spent over $ 45 in Tamiya paint, not to mention 3 cans of clear. I kept getting a reaction from the clearcoat so I would sand it out and then touch up the paint and reclear. Within a week I would get bubbling under the touch up spots from the coats below. So then I would strip and start over. Then at one point I dropped the freshly painted body off of the paint stand. Anywhoo.... it was a challenge. Here are the photos. http:// http:// http:// I heavily modified the suspension. I chopped the top, pancaked the hood, molded in the fender skirts from a 36 Ford, and molded in the hood vents from the Rat Roaster kit for the taillights. http:// Later- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As i look at it now I see many things that i wish i had done (windshield wipers) or done better. (Panel lines). Oh well. Perhaps on the rebuild in twenty years.
