Hobby Lobby is doing another clearance. Yesterday I bought 3 Revell Porsche 911s for $6.89 each, a 1979 Trans Am for $7 and the AMT 1978(?) F-350 or $8.99. Can you tell my wife is out of town? The other day I got a Raptor and a couple of others for cheap as well. They had the clearance kits hidden on several end caps. I found them by accident. I didn't need them, but I really wanted them! A sidenote, is the 911 supposed to be 1979ish 930?

Got the Piranha 'art box' version for $9.99, some Tamiya weathering kits for $2 each and some model train stuff cheap!!! And on top of that a MPC Space 1999 transporter at 40% off.......a good haul!!

Man, I wish ours had the Tamiya weathering kits on sale too. I could use that and the super fine sanding sheets but I keep putting it off!

Lucky to have a couple of large Hobby Lobby's in the area. It does pay to check around. I found a '41 Ford Woody for $10.43 with a retail of $28.99. The same kit at the other store was $17.00. Both stores are having a close out on some older stock, but one is being aggressive on pricing where the other is only offering the usual 40% off.

Couple of weeks ago I found a Piranha cheap.  Also not in the regular Clearance aisle or the model kit section - it was on one of the "island" displays in the middle of an aisle. Several other clearance kits were displayed with it, all aircraft.

Couple of months ago, some TAMIYA Weathering Kits were hiding in the regular HL Clearance aisle.  They were hard to see, buried under other stuff,  and I nearly missed them.  I guess you just have to look at everything carefully in HL.

I've seen all the clearance sales there too. Unfortunately there's nothing there I have to have. The best deal I once got from HL was when they had the Testors 1/4 scale visible Dodge Hemi kit. Someone had posted that day about a 50% coupon that HL had. So I printed and went to HL to see what I could find. I grabbed a Hemi which was marked at $70. So I got it for $35. They had 3 of those kits. Two were marked at $80 and one was marked at $70. So I got a good deal. I still haven't built it yet.

Checked the Deerfield store this afternoon - the only kit on sale was a '71 Tbird marked down to $16.79 on the regular shelf; no big gaps indicating restock yet.

Got one of those here in Charlotte for about $10, figured it was worth that much in parts alone. Gonna drop that 429 into a Mobieus F100!

The HL in Matthews NC didn't have any models on clearance...yet. I suspect that these markdowns are done regionally and what is happening in other towns will eventually make it to the rest of country.

I picked up a couple of Model T delivery trucks for $9 ea, at the Arden (Sacramento, CA) HL, I left one on the shelf, didn't want to be greedy. Nothing else really appealed to me.

Went to the Hobby Lobby at Alamance Crossing, NC and they have a bunch of kits on clearance. I picked up the Piranha, a 65 Mustang funny car, and the 23 T delivery truck for $30!

It would help to know the location of the store you visited as they don't always have the same sales or items, thanks

You're right Greg as I was at my local Hobby Lobby the other morning and there was no model clearance sale items offered.

Revell '13 Camaro $16.79

Revell '14 Mustang $16.19
