Rocking Rodney Rat Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) This build was modeled after a real car. KK dubbed it The Lowster and the name stuck. The body is from the AMT Beverly Hillbillies car. Buildup pix here: http://public.fotki.com/jferren/t-latest-from-the-r/ ... -RRR Edited March 24, 2017 by Rocking Rodney Rat

Rocking Rodney Rat Posted March 24, 2017 Author Posted March 24, 2017 Another beautiful build. I really like the color, I'd like to use it on a future project. Where should I look for it ??Your local auto parts store, I believe it's an Duplicolor or Plastikote color? Sorry, I built this several years ago and the specifics escape me now.... -RRR
f1ford48 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Hot Stuff- super clean build and I love the colors.
Intmd8r Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 LOVE IT! Everything about it is perfect. The Hillbilly kit is such a great parts resource for scratch building Hot Rods like this. I used a modified version of the chassis for my vintage racer build with the Jimmy Flintstone body and plan on using the left overs for a Rat Rod project.Keep up the great work on the Rod builds....
