Added a strip to the rear edge of the hood the create the flip-up of the 1:1.  Also added windshield clips.

Dang, those Minilites from Fireball look fantastic.

I bought a set to build a copy of my 1:1

       JC,

Beautiful and just amazing!  But I knew it

would be based on your track record!!

"Track Record", did you see what I did

there? (pun intended)

Your attention to detail is truly inspiring

to say the least.

The seat is from the Revellogram Shelby GT350R kit.  I reshaped the top and added the seat belt slots.

Hi,

Just catching up to this.

Your build process is just so clean and meticulous.  I'm going to try and emulate for sure.

This is awesome BTW, hope it finds it's way to Norm in form of an HRM trans-kit as I would definitely by it.

Not my normal subject matter but this is awesome!!!

Thanks Brian.  I though about doing a street AAR trans-kit but don't think it would sell.  Everyone, me included is hoping Revell will issues a complete AAR kit.

The race car conversion would be too complicated to cast as a trans-kit.  Besides I've already started final paint - and I ain't building another one. :D

That's what I thought you said in one of your earlier posts, so I looked in a couple '66 GT350R kits at a swap meet this weekend and couldn't find that seat. All I could find where the stock seats in the boxes. :(

This seat is also in the many racing Corvette kits from Revell,  Owens Corning, Penske, Stars & Stripes, Rebel...

I know of this because I built one many years ago, and I wanted two seats in mine so I got an extra from someone. It can be found in this kit though. ;)

BTW, this Shelby is a '65.........

Yep the racing seat is only in GT350R kit, not included in the street GT350 kits.
