I would like to see a fairly detailed Saleen S7. The S7R would be even better.

To build on that, I'd also love to see Revell do a Saleen Mustang based on the old Fox body Monogram Mustang GT tool. That was one of my dream cars as a kid.

The (non-racing)  models from late 50's / most of the 60's were very beautiful i dark grey, both coupe's and convertibles. With tan or cocnac interiors.

All of the current Super GT cars. Preferably made by Tamiya. I'm sure eventually they will be. Or expensive wide body kits made to add to standard cars with decal sheets available. But hopefully just a all in one kit!

Specifically these two cars

I like this idea.  When it comes to concept cars, the one at the top of my list would be GM's Firebid III

That's one of the things I look forward to as 3D printing develops. My hope is that models of cars that aren't financially viable to produce as traditional kits may be printed out commercially and easily obtained.

3 things already mentioned in this thread that I would totally get behind, in plastic and 1:25, in no particular order.

First, any boattail Riv. To me, it's incredible we still don't have one.

Next, any 1974-76 Firebird, T/A or Formula. Think of the possibilities of a multi-version kit.

And, yes please, an '82-'88 Dodge Diplomat. This one lends itself to public service (police/fire), taxis, as well as grandma's grocery getter. Add a newly tooled lightbar or two (like a Smith & Wesson 8780 or a Federal Signal Aerodynic), as well as a choice of police wheels & caps, or wheel covers. The decal aftermarket could have a field day with this one.

I had no idea there was not any  boat tail Riv models; just assumed they did have one because it is a rather famous car. That’s so sucky that no model car companies have one. Missing’ out on an opportunity there for sure; I’d buy one, and then build it like the green one from Due South.

Ideally 1/16 scale, but realistically 1/25 scale, would be a “level 5” 1978 Mustang II King Cobra kit with separate bodykit and trim panels, so one could easily make a different trim level. Heck, it would be easy enough to make coupe and hatchback kits with a simple roof mold swap and different rear/side windows.

There was a resin kit from Aardvark Models. The molds may still exist. Not sure on that. 9F7BF229-EDA2-4DC7-813E-7F5D3B660B2B.png.f9112417986f0ccc74ae8872f864aa46.png
