Michael in Illinois Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Outstanding build, and Very good photography, love the black
Anglia105E Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Well Steve, I can hardly find the words to express how impressed I am by that build of yours. Beautiful Pontiac Bonneville '63, and in both of those photos the model looks like the real car, which is what I am striving for all the time. I totally agree with all the comments of other members on here, you have achieved such high quality with that one build, so don't worry about how many...... this ONE is exceptional. David Watson. thatz4u Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Fantastic as always....Thanks for your help with my 1960 Edsel.....if you're selling off I will take a 1960 Merc HT ....LOL
DeeCee Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 1 it may only be, but it is a very tidy job mate.
Mahogany Rush Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 That car is stunning. Nothing to be ashamed of here.
bogger44 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 While it's the only one you finished, my goodness it is fabulous! Just like you always do, Steve. Hope you can get a few more finished in the coming year.
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 I really appreciate all of the encouraging comments everyone! It always goes a long way to help motivate me to keep building. Thank you all!! Steve
crowe-t Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 It's one great build Steve! If you can only build one than this is how it should be built. It actually looks like a real car in the pictures.
carrucha Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 (edited) Sweet Pontiac. Well built and finished. Don't feel bad about your build output. This year I finished a 1929 Ford woody wagon in August that I started in October 2016 and I am about to finish a 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix that I started in August 2017 that was supposed to be a "quick build". Smitty Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Well, Steven, it's frustrating when 'life' gets in the way of your passion, but like everyone has been saying, you did a beautiful job on this Pontiac. Your black paint job is a knockout!
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 27, 2017 Author Posted December 27, 2017 Thanks so much everyone! The responses to this model & the fact that I should be able to get a little more bench time during the holidays will hopefully kick my current project into the next gear. 1 hour ago, Smitty said: Your black paint job is a knockout! Thank you Eric! Black is hands down my least favorite color to work with, but it does show well on nearly any car. Here are a couple of outdoor shots that high lite the paint a little better. Steve
89AKurt Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Quality vs. quantity. That is sweet! I built the 1965 Grand Prix last century, so appreciate the chrome work.
Codi Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Stunning model Steve. The quality of the build is top notch. cheers, tim
Cpt Tuttle Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 With a result like this, "Pathetic" is never the right word.
