I never found one. I did buy three copies of the roadster kit, which could turn out to have been a very good move.

Or not.

Well, maybe if the tooling is ever resurrected or repaired or redone, it will have input from somebody who has 1) actually seen a 1930 Ford and 2) can use a tape measure.

I wonder if there is a clinical name for a tape-measure fetish???

"accuracy enthusiast" ;)    Since these are customs, not sure how the accuracy would be determined.   Now the accuracy of a kit of an actual stock Model A could be determined, obviously.

Counting Rivets, But Bill is correct.

This has been debated here and on other boards  to the conclusion that "Oh well, it's good enough." and the never ending " A GOOD modler can fix those minor nuances."

Things that are rarely excepted in the armor or aircraft side of the hobby.

With a subject like the Revell '30 Ford I can see looking past any perceived innaccuracies since it represents a custom (i.e. fake) subject, not an actual production vehicle.

I'd wager there's not a '30 Ford on the planet, "custom" or otherwise, that has the firewall and cowl as portrayed on this model. I've done a partial tutorial on correcting it, by the way. I've seen HUNDREDS of these cars, both stock and rodded. It's just flat wrong.

How many model A hot rods ( Customs) have you seen with that Deuce top insert ?

I think it was over at TRaK where this was discussed, and someone found one car that had the top modified like that. It ruined an otherwise nice hot rod.

Image result for sky is falling meme

Or...maybe it's not falling. We don't know. We have no evidence either way. Let's get to speculatin'.

The truth is out there.

Might as well speculate on the price of tapioca futures. Quantum Capital Partners AG doesn't acquire companies just to cash them out. Purchasing Revell's assets must make sense. I won't say that this was done because, as has been, heh, speculated,  some of the team have warm and fuzzy nostalgic memories of building a model in their youth. They are hardcore specialists in their fields and are making decisions based on the bottom line.

William Devane is recommending that, in addition to gold and silver, this kit is the next big investment item.
