AMT 1969 Oldsmobile 442 (non W-30)

Just finished this AMT 1969 Oldsmobile 442 with a non W-30 engine option. Painted in factory color Nassau Blue.

Very slick. One of my favorite GMs and my favorite GM color. Any remarks or reviews you would offer on the kit itself? It’s on my wishlist. A positive word on it may convince me to pull the trigger and buy it sooner.

Very clean looking build. I like the standard 442 appearance you chose. Smooth paint and a timeless color.

Very nice 69!  I like the correct air cleaner in the correct color.  Did you have to do anything to the ride height, my 69's always look a little low in back when assembled.

And a special thanks for NOT putting on that incorrect pair of trunk stripes that AMT felt necessary to put on the decal sheet.   I wish they'd put the correct trunk stripe on the sheet (attached).

Great kit but the ride height needs to be corrected to a more realistic height. Decal sheet should have included the W-30 air cleaner decal.

Thanks Dan. Yes the ride height needs to be raised and the wheels need to be centered within the wheel openings.
