carcrazy19 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 (edited) I finished this over the weekend. Except for the tires that I got out of my parts box its pretty much OOB. The color is Model Master Hugger Orange. I had some trouble with getting the chassis to fit so that the tires were centered in the wheel wells. I also wired the engine but it didn't turn out as nice as I would have wanted. All in all I'm happy with it. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking. Edited May 22, 2018 by carcrazy19
Snake45 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Can't find anything to fault. Could be either a 9560 or a 9561 Camaro, depending on what color the engine is....
NYLIBUD Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Wow,excellent job.The car looks great in that color too.

espo Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Outstanding paint work, super smooth. In addition to the parts box tires those wheels are interesting, I like that style myself. I owned a '69 Camaro for 18 years and the only thing it shared with your COPO was the color combination. It got me tickets when I wasn't even doing anything wrong. Loved that car but it almost cost me my license.
carcrazy19 Posted May 22, 2018 Author Posted May 22, 2018 Thanks everyone for the compliments. To answer you question Anthony, the tires are after market. I don't remember what the brand is. I bought them back in the 90's and I originally had them on a different model I think it was a 69 Charger. Then it took a nose dive off my shelf and it was destroyed. So I kept the tires, put them in my parts box till I rediscovered them for this build. The kicker is I remember buying a bunch of these back then and for some reason I got out of building and gave away all my kits that I had including the tires. Not a smart decision cause I really like them and I had a lot of kits that I wish I could still have. OH WELL, lucky for me I had unknowingly kept the parts box which I found them in when I was cleaning out my parents basement.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Turned out great! Nice smooth paint and the meats out back really set it off well. Hope to finish mine up in the next couple of weeks.
