This is my second completed kit after about 22 years away from the hobby. Revell Foose Firebird kit, Testors Lime Ice one coat lacquer for the color. Pretty decent kit over all, had to use some clothespin ingenuity overnight to hold the body to the chassis and one of the taillights looks funky due to a mold issue that I made a little worse (lesson learned). Was actually the first body that I used bare metal foil on, the second engine that I did plug wires on, and I tried my hand at LED headlights on this one for the first time. Outside of the taillight I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out.

Very nicely done! So the box art doesn't represent what's in the kit?  I like your finished 'bird much more than the art on the box.

Great looking "Bird". It would seem that you have the foiling down. In the picture of the engine shows a close up of the bottom of the Windshield and the Wipers. These can be some of the harder spots to get right and you did. I like the little details with the under hood decals and the mufflers. These touches add a lot to the overall appearance of a model.

Nice Firebird :)

Makes me wonder if it would take a front clip from the MPC to make a decent 69 wich is an awful kit.

Good looking Firebird. Your foiling and engine detailing look well done. Nice paint work, too.

I agree.
