DeeCee Posted August 12, 2018 Share Posted August 12, 2018 (edited) I started with the AMT Texaco 50 Chevy Pick-up, I did a lot of work on this one, started by narrowing the rear of the chassis and the diff, made up some mini tubs for the tray to accommodate the wider wheels. Added a wish-bone front end, as the drop beam looks like cr@p, and did not help with the stance. Fabricated a 4-link rear end while i was at it. Found a SB Chevy in the spares box, and added a VCG resin intake to go with the pro touring theme. The seats are from the 67' Charger kit, also found some different bumpers to tuck them in closer, and a bit more streamline. Paint is an Acrylic mix i call Maple Syrup.. John, i used some of the body color, and mix it with some flat white, it gives me a contrasting shade for the interior with out being completely wrong or offensive.
