While the majority seem to have been molded in red, there are a decent number of the light blue ones around.

Original decal sheet and instructions. Plus one of the lesser seen light blue ones. Most of the original issue 34s were molded in red.

My first AMT kit was this 34 Ford pickup molded in red . I am guessing about 1962-3

So..., what motor is the chrome one supposed to represent?

IIRC, it says "390 THUNDERBIRD" on the valve covers.

I'm just happy to know that this old AMT tool took the long way around to come back as an AMT kit - never thought I'd see that happen again.

BTW - are the Corvette hubcaps included in this issue?

I an waiting for the Dual Rear Wheels, and the Stake Bed.

Sunoco Decals are nice, but won't move the needle. Very Nice Artwork, however! I wonder if they'll throw in any other "Goodies" to sweeten the deal? This kit is common enough that it will take something special to push it into the "Must Buy" column.

Figures...my local Hobby Lobby JUST sold the last one of these that had been sitting on the shelf since the last reissue...time for another go-around!

No complaints though - I didn't really need any more of these but I'm sure I'll grab a couple more anyway 'just in case'...

If you'd be happy with a cardboard cut-out style station, it might happen someday. I'd buy the kit again if it had a cardboard display piece in it.
