Most of the original issue 34s were molded in red. My first AMT kit was this 34 Ford pickup molded in red . I am guessing about 1962-3 Edited January 25, 2019 by Bob Ellis missing information
Bob Ellis
I couldn't edit my response. But I wante to say that it seems to me Trophy kits were molded in blue about 1964.

stavanzer
I just checked you tube, hoping for an un-boxing video of the '34 P/U. Still no luck! I hope Chris is planning on getting one!

Oldcarfan27
I'm just happy to know that this old AMT tool took the long way around to come back as an AMT kit - never thought I'd see that happen again. BTW - are the Corvette hubcaps included in this issue?
stavanzer
No Corvette Hub Caps. Sorry.

stavanzer
I an waiting for the Dual Rear Wheels, and the Stake Bed. Sunoco Decals are nice, but won't move the needle. Very Nice Artwork, however! I wonder if they'll throw in any other "Goodies" to sweeten the deal? This kit is common enough that it will take something special to push it into the "Must Buy" column. stavanzer
If you'd be happy with a cardboard cut-out style station, it might happen someday. I'd buy the kit again if it had a cardboard display piece in it.
Zippi
I just finished the 34 pickup. Very nice kit. Will build another down the road.
