Should have finished a couple more this year but the flood in late April put a halt on my building.

Just getting set up for models again. Taking a bit longer than it normally would as I'm doing up a more dedicated room to work in with a 10 foot counter top work area instead of an old kitchen table.

Anyway, Here's what I finished before being so rudely interrupted by Mother Nature in April.

Long term '68 C-10 project.

Curbside resin '66 Fury.

and this took up a lot of my free time last summer. The fade stripe decals above the silver skirts have been added since these pics were taken.

Thanks for looking. :)

I hope the flood didn't get your Firebird. I remember following your C10 build. I mentioned at that time that a friend of mine had the same color combination with chrome wheels and the same stance. Very clean looking Plymouth Fury.

Thanks David.

I took the T/A to a friends place on higher ground about a block away when the flood came so it was fine. You don't see many dark blue '85s. Mine's actually a '14 Honda color, Dyno blue pearl. It's almost the same blue that was on it but the old blue was a solid color and this one's pearl. I changed it because the original solid color looked a bit too "industrial" for my tastes.

We knew what to expect so no real damage, just one shelf unit fell over. Had a couple built models and some paint on it. That was about it.

Glad to here you came out ok. I remember when you were posting the pictures of your car when you were painting it. That is one of the shades of Blue I really like.

Steve great looking builds.  I'm and insurance adjuster and we got slammed this past spring and August with rain and I never got to build anything.

We were lucky. There's still people living in small travel trailers with porta-potties in some spots along the St.John river.

I can't believe the storms that you guys get out east.

I love the C10 and the Fury, Steve.  I Hope 2019 is better for you and you get to build more as I am always inspired by your work.

Thanks everyone.

Yea, that pickup is one of my personal faves too. :D  They might be my favorite because we had a burgundy long stepside GMC when I was a kid .

I've got at least 4 more I want to build too. , ,

The red custom from the side of the GMC stepside box.

an almost stock lime green and white '69 or '70 Chevy stepside

another full custom incorporating parts from this generation truck and the '88 up trucks. candy orange-red maybe??

a candy dark blue '72 short fleetside with a thin tube grille.

Good thing I stocked up on kits, parts and re-builders when I came across them. ;)

I like the looks and color of that 68.

I know what you mean. I picked all of these up, along with a huge box of the parts to go along with them real cheap recently. Many parts still on the sprues. Waiting in the wings to get rebuilt.
