GeeBee Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 (edited) I couldn't do a WIP on this one here, as the model was supplied by Revell for a magazine article in Scale Modelling Now magazine, but here's a few photos of the finished model, airbrushed in Chevrolet Panama yellow with Snowcrest white side coves, paint was supplied by MCW Lacquer, chrome trim was done with BMF, Edited January 6, 2019 by GeeBee
James2 Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 My father bought a 58 when he got out of the army. Wished he would of held on to it so the family could fight over who owned it now! Your model looks amazing. Clean and shiny, well done.
peter31a Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 Just started on the 59 kit. Hope it comes out as nice as yours.

SawgrassRaven Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Very nice! This was one of the first real kits I ever built. I wasn't a fraction this nice.
TooOld Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 She's a real beauty ! Just shows what an OOB build can really look like without spending $$$ on aftermarket goodies , excellent !

As it was supplied by Revell for the magazine build i had to build it OOB, although i did cheat slightly by using some left over photo etch door locks.
