Brudda Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Hello, this is a monogram 55 Chevy. Painted a Chevy truck color with more blue toner. Automotive solvent base with a urethane clear. The white is a light pearl. Took a big block from a revell el Camino kit and the wheels and tires are from a revell 32 kit. A very great kit. My first monogram kit. Hope you like

ismaelg Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I followed this one closely. That is one gorgeous '55! In fact, so good I will not build one
Tommy124 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Simply beautiful! Did you use Alclad on the bumpers?
TooOld Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Gorgeous '55 ! I agree your paint job is fantastic and those wheels really look perfect on it !
donb Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 The paint is very nice. Color combo looks great. The engine detail is also above and beyond. The alt. bracket work is excellent,. Tire and wheel combo fit perfect. Overall and exceptional build!
Jantrix Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 VERY nicely done. Super clean, great paint. I'm a fan.
crazyjim Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Superbly detailed engine and I love the SHINY
Koellefornia Kid Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Beautiful build! The paint job looks super smooth and the 5-spoke wheels are a perfect fit for the chevy!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Great color combo, and great stance. The rat motor also looks great.
Tom Geiger Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Very nice model! Which alerts me to the fact that I don't have a '55 on my shelf. It's a nice kit to build so I should work on that!
BigTallDad Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 (edited) An excellent rendition! The paint job is stellar! I owned a 1:1 '55 and it did not, however, have an alternator; it had a generator (longer, smaller diameter, and done in black) Edited January 11, 2019 by BigTallDad
