Looks like the Panamera has a nice interior at least

Though the front seats are comically undersized like the AMG GT.  I note that Tamiya sometimes has this problem too (thinking Aston DBS).

...I wish some vendors would realise that Facebook is not the only communication channel in the world, and that some of us have consciously chosen to get off that platform, or never got on...

That said, there's a lot of Beemax stuff I'll buy when it actually arrives at SpotModel or HobbyEasy.

best,

M.

yeah the ukrainian lots items look really nice, but $45 (bmw) with p+p on top for an engine is a bit much when eightyone can have them delivered for $30 (not bmw) from hong kong. But for a decent audi a4 road car I would probably buy one set anyway for my vw family collection as I prefer the road cars to the race.

Sometimes I think Revell's motto is "it's always something".

I'm looking forward to the Krupp Bussing truck.  Maybe that will bring down the crazy prices on ebay.  I also wonder what the price point will be on the ICM Model T?

Geoff,

Do or did you hear something from Heller?

Don't see the company listed as an exhibitor, nor does their site or FB page showcase all new items.

Nothing heard from Heller, I believe they were not at the show, I've heard a few rumours that they are having finance trouble (Again)

Personally, I prefer the Huayra to the Zonda.  I would prefer they invested into a Lamborghini Urus.  Wouldn't that be an interesting kit on the shelf?

Totally agree with you.  I like how the picture leaves nothing to the imagination.

I just noticed this when going trough the pictures:
Ebbro_05.jpg
Ebbro_04.jpg
1:24 VW Type 2 kombi from Ebbro. I wonder if that is a collaboration with Revell or if they have made new molds on their own. Very nice to see a more standard version of the splitwindow bus and not just the samba and the panelvan.

And Heller is present:

I'll be getting a couple of those vans, it'll save me filling the windows on the versions I've got already

Same thing here. I have had an idea of making a Kombi by combining parts from Revells Samaba and Panel but that is an espensive build as it requires both kits. Much better with one that is already a Kombi out of the box.

I despise Revell's flat boxes

Indeed.  Revell flat boxes, how do I loathe thee?  Let me count the ways:

  • They collapse under their own weight if you try to stack them.
  • You can't store a WIP or built kit in them.
  • In some cases the unbuilt kit doesn't even fit comfortably.
  • Any loose parts will inevitably find their way out between the box and the end flap.

I could go on, but I'm getting wound up just thinking about the damned things.

With apologies to E Barrett Browning

yeah was wondering the same about the type one.

Nothing new at Heller so it seems, maybe it's lack of having an R&D manager that stalls any future developments.....

The Typ 2 Van is the Revell kit with newly tooled Kombi parts from Ebbro. One of these days they might actually issue that DS21, they showed that thing for the first time at Nuremberg in 2017...I think my pre-order at HLJ is over a year old at this point.

I know what you mean, I bought a hasegawa pick up to combine with the panel then decided it was too nice to cut up, but since then I got a couple of started kits that I dont feel too bad cutting up
