Ramfins59 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 (edited) I'm trying to finish up the models that got started last year but never finished due to procrastination. Here's a '32 Ford 5 Window Coupe. I used the Revell kit with some parts from the Rat Roaster kit. It is painted Tamiya Purple. The wheels and tires, mirror and little antenna are from my parts stash. It's got a PE grille from MCG and an MAD prewired distributor. The interior is partially painted with Lavender enamel. Chrome details were done with BMF and Molotow Chrome Ink. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Any and all comments are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for looking in on this. Now to pull another one out of the "pile". tbill Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Yes, every now and again I have trouble with a reply, or pics loading, was just joking with ya
Phildaupho Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Classic Deuce Coupe with a 60's vibe. The antenna is a nice touch and purple & lavender were certainly the quintessential custom colors in the early sixties.
slusher Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Great looking 32 Rich, love those wide whites!!!
bisc63 Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Cool period piece, not over-done, just a groovy old rod!
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 That´s a beautiful 5-Window, Richard! I like the tires, do you remember where they came from?
Ramfins59 Posted February 12, 2019 Author Posted February 12, 2019 Thank you all for your very kind comments. Oliver, I'm sorry, but I don't remember where I got those tires. They are all resin pieces that I've had in my parts stash for a long time. I wish I had a few more of those whitewall slicks. I used my razor saw to cut the grooves in them to make them cheater slicks.
espo Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Perfect stance and I like the wide whites with the cheater slicks. Nice interior. Might think about a radiator support but not always needed.
Jantrix Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Very nice work Rich. I love the baby moons.
geetee66 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 That's one cool ride, daddio! great wheels and colour. Looks very clean and crisp. I like this a lot ??
