mangodart Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Hi guys, Here is my last build, an AMT 56 Ford Victoria, simply box stock except the skirts with scratch chrome molding, to me it's really something missing on this kit, the car looks too "small" without them. Spray can paint without any clear coat, just polished. Hope you'll like it

Bainford Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Nice build of one of my all time favourite kits. Looks great. I agree, skirts would have been very useful in this kit.
Dave Darby Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I put skirts on my Vicky firvthe same reason. Your build looks great!
espo Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Very cleanly done. I like how you stayed with the stock theme and the skirts add to that appearance. Ford had some bold color combinations then.
Slimguy Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Super nice build...color choices I think is terrific...any interior pictures?
'70 Grande Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I think this is one of the finest builds that I have ever seen of this kit! The color choices are great, paintwork extremely well-done and the added details take it even farther! The added rear fender skirts really change/enhance the look of this build! Nice job on this one!
Oldcarfan27 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Beautiful job, looks like a 50s factory color combination.
Wm David Green Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Really nice work, great colors. I have a couple of these kits in my stash, and am looking for inspiration as to the color options.
mangodart Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 Thanks for the nice comments, I ve had this kit for years and built several on my young days but get tired of it at a moment until I saw an old b&w movie where cars were provide by Ford and it gives me inspiration to build this one ?
David G. Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Nicely done! The fender skirts are well worth the effort. They really complete the model. David G.
