Rebuilt glue bomb. Shaved trim and emblems as they were mostly sanded off by a previous builder.
Modelhaus front bumper and tail lights. Headlights drilled out and replaces with a set of my resin ones.
Scale finishes aqua with pearl nail polish mid-coat and Testors clear lacquer.
Wheels and tires from AMT "resto rods" '66 Galaxie.
Kit engine with heads, intake and carb from MPC '79 Trans Am. Air cleaner from JoHan '63 Caddy with air horn from an old injector tube.

And a big Thank You to Steve Guthmiller for supplying a replacement tail light after I lost one after the first flood. :D

Not really into the modern wheels, but that's a nice model.  Pity the moulds were modified, leaving us with the ugly 1970 iteration.  I'd much rather have a reissue of the '67.

Very VERY way hella most excellent cool! LOVE those '67 Ponchos and you did a great job of it--you are a true Glue Bomb Hero! Well done and model on! B)

Beautiful looking cruiser. The paint job looks great and the perfect color. The stance is just where you would want it.

Hi Steeve!

Great work, your patience paid-off! I'm impressed by what seems a perfect windshield shading effect... Airbrush?

CT

Yup. Tamiya acrylic through an airbrush

worked out for you too!!  :D

I knew I wanted to use those wheels on the car even before I had a color picked. I really like them but they sure are hard to get.

Fantastic build, the 67 Pontiac's are in my opinion the best looking of all the years, your Bonny looks perfect, a great addition to your collection.

I can't say that I really like the wheels either, but they're a hell of a lot better than most of the modern chrome wheels that you see!

Very nice work Steve!
