TooOld Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Whoa that's gorgeous '67 ! Those big Fords sure are pretty , especially in the sunlight !
Curt Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Outstanding work, Steve! I like the choice of the painted top.
stinkybritches Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I already thought it looked amazing, but the outdoor shots take it to another level.
Rider Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Killer work. Stock builds don't usually garner much interest for me but your work sure does. Well done, dig the license being off a bit. Was that on purpose or just luck? I think it adds to the realism.

It's funny, but I never noticed that until after I had shot these photos and started looking at them. I'm not sure if I just started moving the model around too soon after I glued it on and it sagged, or if it happened at some point during transport and display at a couple of shows this spring. Steve
bbowser Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Outstanding replica! Great paint and photos, I agree the wheel covers look amazing.
ChrisBcritter Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Magnificent, Steve! Gives us all something to aim for.
Cpt Tuttle Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 (edited) It's really fantastic, amazing model, I noticed the license plate too though but that happens sometimes, no big deal. Edited July 26, 2019 by Cpt Tuttle

Well, if that's the only issue with the finished product, I'm happy! If I get really bored some day, I might even fix it. Steve
Lunajammer Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Yeah, sunlight really does it justice. Beautiful piece Steve.
Deuces Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Wow, I never knew an AMT model could look so good!!!..... That's beautiful!....
StevenGuthmiller Posted July 27, 2019 Author Posted July 27, 2019 Thanks so much everybody! 6 hours ago, Deuces said: Wow, I never knew an AMT model could look so good!!!..... That's beautiful!.... This is a circumstance where AMT did quite a nice job. The body was very nicely done. The interior was not horrible, (although I did quite a bit of modifying on it). And even the chassis had a fair amount of detail. The engine of course was stolen from a newer kit, but even the original piece didn't look too bad. Steve
RAMBENNA Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 man this is fabulous build , the color the interior all the detail, one fine job Steve
Dragonhawk1066 Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 That is some outstanding detail work on the engine/compartment and interior!
