Lorne
Got the bug to build again, not sure what car/truck this bad boy will be going into? This is a 3D printed engine kit!! Crisp, clean and accurate! Love this stuff! The linkage was a head scratcher, I think it will work?? Just getting started will update the progress on the bench, now where's that torque wrench,.....?? Lorne
Hey Matthijsgrit, Landman is right! Shapeway for the 3D print, R&B motion for the rods, nut and bolts and Detail Masters for the photo-etch
Lorne
Hey gtx6970 the air horns are from R&B motion! R&B motion and Shapeways nailed these products!! Keep on building!!

Codi
Stunning pieces. Love the way you did the throttle linkage and gives me some ideas that I might "borrow" as well. Can't wait to see what you put these pieces to. cheers, tim

Lorne
Power steering pump completed. Adding this to the Big Block!! Ended up scratch building. Treating each engine part like a model itself, kinda a cool way to approach the build i guess?

djflyer
wow, that's fantastic. Does that have a part number or name and what scale is it?
Lorne
Hey djflyer The engine is from Shapeways 3D Model Specialties 1/25 scale, and the linkage is assorted rods, nuts and bolts from R&B motion, the photoetch is from Detail masters. I found a photo online of a cross ram that had that type of linkage, just tried to duplicate that. Close sorta. Sorry don't have part numbers Everything is a click and a credit card away! WARNING that can be dangerous! Thanks for kind words Lorne
djflyer
I hadnt seen that style cross-ram before - will definitely have to do some shopping. And your warning is duly noted. ?
