Wow, always love how a project transforms when painted.  Looking really good!  I'm sure there are nuts and bolts that would work for knock-offs, so you could play with it. ?

Dann, You have been doing an amazing job packing in the extra detail on this kit. I've enjoyed every post detailing a new solution for increased accuracy.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

Hey, everyone!, the body is now ready for clear coating after the stripe, and decals dry!!...my inspiration is obviously the 63 Corvette Grand Sport...i think it looks waaay better like this.

Just been having a catch up on this, great work as usual Dann !

Love the new colours, they suit the shape well !

As for the wheels, how about the 3 pointed knock offs you get on lowrider wheels ?  Just an idea !

Looking forward to more buddy !

The chassis and wheels look great!

Then I went to the next page and saw the paintwork on the body, Wow!

Not the color I expected. The original kit being cast in red styrene obviously set certain expectations in my mind. Then, Blammo! Expectations totally shattered!

The blue looks fabulous on that body! And the masking for the stripes looks perfectly executed.

Well Done Sir!

Looking great as always! Paint job really helps the body design, looks much better in blue and white than in red!

Thanks, Anton!!...thats what i figured as well!

+1 on your color choices! I was immediately struck with an idea while ogling the pics of the empty body; that could pretty easily be built into a mid-engine custom by reversing the engine and cockpit positions!
