PatW Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 I took the windscreen off, fitted the roof unit and side windows and shaved the windscreen down to fit. Tried the Bronco roll cage/rear seat. 1
Modlbldr Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Did some repairs on my buddy's Willy's pickup for his widow. I made hinges for the hood and reattached the door hinge. Time to give it back to her tomorrow. Later- 1

Olskoolrodder Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 By the time I go to bed in an hour or so, I'll have finished a Nascar build of one of our favorite drivers during the 90's (Dale Jarrett). Build's done, decals done, just a little body detail painting left

Modlbldr Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Sat around on Zoom tonight with SamIAm and worked on this ramp truck. I extended the bed and cut the sides down. Also added the rear fenders to the bed sides. Lots more to do. Later- 1
Brudda Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Working on a 935 turbo motor. It’s going very slow.
TransAmMike Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Finished up the Pontiac 421SD engine for my '62 Catalina build
PatW Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 (edited) A Revell BMW I-8 Electric, on my shelf for about 12 or more months. Realised that I hadn't started because to was moulded in dreadful black like a funeral car, so had to paint it. It must be some sort of camo! Edited December 19, 2021 by PatW
Brudda Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 A little more, air boxes and fuel injection lines and pump 1 1

Still have a lot to finish on it. Glad you like.I thought I could do this on a weekend? Boy was I dreaming. My 427 cobra engine was a breeze in the park. There are so many parts, the engine is so complex that they would have had reliable parts issues. Here is a early build of the two Porsche engines” not even finished.”A 1600 hp monster and a 800 hp monster on the right. 16 hours ago, CabDriver said: That engine is gorgeous

Snake45 Posted December 23, 2021 Author Posted December 23, 2021 Finished up the Snake-Fu on a diecast Welly '65 Impala. Looked like an easy job, I estimated it at 2-4 hours tops. More involved than it looked--it ended up taking three whole mornings, probably closer to 9 hours. The finished model looks even better than I was hoping for though. Hope to have pics up in the Diecast section tomorrow.
PatW Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 A bit more on the BMW I-8.. Yes quite a bit more. I'm not posing the doors open as I haven't enough room in my display cabinet. Slide the wheels out pop the tyres off clean up the wheels and add a bit more paint. Glass to go in, then doors etc.

Brudda Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Added turbos. This took a couple of days. This is the hardest kit I have ever started. Every part is a pain. I’m wondering if the pain is worth it. My cobra was “ model factory hiro lite”. I’m a idiot. I must love the torture. 1
cobraman Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 It looks great and I have every confidence you will knock it out of the park !
Cool Hand Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 (edited) Dug out all my stalled wip that dont have a thread to asses which ones I might be interested and motivated to bring to the work bench and maybe put the time in to get completed. Thinking I will work on this one first. Edited December 27, 2021 by Cool Hand
