Maybe you should read from the first page of this thread.

How about putting a link up up so we don't have to search for it.  I just clicked on the last page and this came to mind.

How about starting a thread instead of just jumping in and repeating stuff again? Why a  link to the same thread?

Sir,  you don't know me.  I did what  everyone else did, added a response.  This is social media.  You have to expect that.

Its on the 2nd page, about 1/3rd of the way down.  Along with that 2/3rds of the way down are suggestions for actually constructing your very own one.  (Come on, people.  "Be excellent to each other.")

I did find it further down on the 2nd page.  I like the last part of the above sentence.  I beleive instead of chastising someone publicly on the board, it's just better to let it go and move on.

Wouldn't be too difficult to kitbash Ralphs pickup. Even the wheel covers were in the old Monogram model A kits.

Do you know what monogram kits those wheel covers are in? I really like them..

The Monogram Chariot had them. And this is sadly not my model.

OK, here's an easy one for either AMT or Revell.  , ,  AND it's a show that's on TV right now !! ??

All they'd need to add to the kit is the licence plates and a set of narrow white walls.

Only problem is that those wheelcovers are sized to replace the outer rims of the stock Model A wire wheels, which are much larger than a 1/25 15" wheel. AMT made covers like these that are the correct size as custom parts in some of their early '60s kits. I know the '60 Buick had them:

Cool one! I always described that show to friends as, "It's Castle if Castle were the devil."

I wonder if AMT made a parts pack with them?

What about the Emergency 51 squad truck?

Squad_51 truck.jpg

Google “Ranger Detail Technologies.”  They offer an amazing multi-media Kit of The LA County Squad including the proper “51” decals and license plates. Builds into the Best, most accurate replica ever!  You’ll need a Dodge pickup donor kit to do 51, or, you can use any other chassis cab to build your own as LA County used Chevys and a few Fords in the ‘70s.

Point of fact, the Dodge cab “D” series cab was only used on the TV series “Emergency!” — product placement by Chrysler. (There was a handful of the larger “W” series Dodge cabs in LACFD service before the TV show.)

Check out the Ranger kit — it is awesome!

They're in some of the  reissues of the MPC '50s era Jeep, including the current one with the Godzilla artwork and the one from a few years ago.

I have the last reissue of the Jeep and it doesn't have them. It has some deep dish Hurricane style wheels instead. It also has no chrome parts at all.

Wasn't this the last reissue of it? from 2002? I know the turbine wheels were in the '70s and '80s reissues.

It shows all the parts on the box and in the instruction sheet. The pic I posted above is from the same box. Was there a reissue between this one and the one with Godzilla?
