Tom99 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 This 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88, is a MCW resin kit. It is painted with Scalefinishes 1956 Oldsmobile Tropical Green & Ice Green, with black and white interior.
PappyD340 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Very nice, my Mom and Dad had one it was blue & white, brings back fond memories!
bbowser Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 I love this! My grandpa had a 4-door, 2 tone green and white very similar to this.
StevenGuthmiller Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Very cool! I have thought hard about purchasing one of the MCW Oldsmobile's, but have yet to pull the trigger. Looks like a pretty nice kit. Steve

I was born in '56 and have a 56 Chevy, Ford, and Chrysler. That would make a fine addition.
High octane Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Wow, very nice build on that Olds Tom. I have a Modelhaus '57 Olds kit that I have yet to start, and right now I'm in a 10 month building slump.
Modlbldr Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Very nice build! Excellent work. Too bad we can't get a production kit of this car. Maybe someday. Later-
Bills72sj Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 I have one of the resin bodies. I hope to replicate this
Chuckyg1 Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 My dad had one of these. Blue/white two tone. We were traveling through Greenwich, Ct when the brakes failed, straight into a toll booth. Everyone came out OK. Can't say the same for the car. Nice build. Color combo is great.
2zwudz Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 What chassis/engine do you use for this resin body???
Tom99 Posted March 6, 2020 Author Posted March 6, 2020 It came with the engine, chassis, and open hood. Thank you all, for the nice comments!
