Bills72sj
Nice work! Did the rear wheels come in the kit?

No, the rear tires are parts box and rear wheels are resin aftermarket narrowed then alcladed.

I vaguely remember those rims on a mid 60's Vette I built when I was a teenager.
Crime Dog
WOW, that's neat as a pin, very clean. I recognize the Slixx decals, what are the paint colors and sources ?

IIRC they are testors brand rattle cans. Nowadays I make notes of the builds on my instructions so I can remember later. On 4/24/2021 at 9:34 PM, Zippi said: Nice build. Love the old Comets. mustang1989
This turned out really good GB! Being a big Maverick/ Comet fan I am SO wanting a Comet kit to add to my Maverick kit stash and this is a good inspiration to build one of these. The one thing that I don't really care for on Jo-Han kits is the lack of any shock towers but hey....you did a great job with what you had. Two thumbs up bud. 👍👍 Edited April 28, 2021 by mustang1989
