RandyB. Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) Just buttoned up my second quarantine build. Revell 1960 Chevrolet Impala in factory colour Suntan Copper sporting the optional 348ci engine. This build brings fond memories from another time since my Dad owned a 1960 Belair in this colour and kept it for ten years. A good portion of my childhood was a part of this car. tmb727 Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 I always know that something good's on the way when I see a "RandyB." post. You didn't disappoint. Beautiful!
MrObsessive Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Randy, that is an absolute beauty! And you painted it in one of my favorite colors for 1959-'60. Revell nailed the body lines on this just right compared to their '59 and yours is soooo nice and cleanly built!
TooOld Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Excellent build of my favorite year Chevy , and in a rarely seen color to boot ! Great job !

espo Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 This is a very realistic looking build. The color is really special also. I remember very few painted this color and often wondered why since it really compliments the body lines and trim. I like the way you did the engine, sort of the way it would have been before someone added all the chrome and such.
Geno Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Holy smokes that baby is beautiful Randy. Fantastic job.
