Does anyone have a suggestion of where I can get a decent set of 1/25 wire wheels ? The type for a sports car so not any deep dish ones. Would not be opposed to having to buy a kit that has a set if needs be. Thanks guys !

Went to buy a Fujimi set and got "out of stock" at a couple places, but found them on ebay.

Is the price for real???

Doesnt surprise me what outrageous prices some people ask for stuff thats OOP.  Both the tires and wheels are excellent, but not worth that kinda coin.

Youch! The last set I saw in-person at a local hobby shop was in the range of $32 Canadian dollars. Granted, that was some time ago, and demand will drive price on sites like eBay (as will greed). I suspect the person who listed that set will get to keep them.

If you setup  an automatic search on eBay, and are patient, you will likely find them much less expensive.  Being patient is the key word.  I had to wait for couple of years for some item I was looking for to show up for a reasonable price (and not get bid up).

I wouldn't want to snipe them from a guy who really needs them or run up the bid.

I didn't mention sniping or bidding..Just set up a search and have it notify you when new listings for those wheels come up for auction. If the price is to your liking you start watching the item and bid whatever you think you wan to spend.  I have many automatic searches set up on eBay for the items I'm lookign for.  Bot to watch what the selling price history is, and to bid on items I'm interested in.

Model Builders Warehouse is OUT of the 1/25 scale wheels and I not sure I could make the 1/24 scale ones they do have work for mu purpose.

That’s how I’ve bought all the old rare kits I’ve wanted. Set the search and watch the emails they send you. Bid your reasonable number on ones you like and eventually the right combo of right car at right price will come together.

Those Fujimi wire wheel sets are gold-plated.  That's why I bought a whole Fujimi Daytona kit.  Now I need to keep an eye out for decent tires for that model.

These are the same wheel/tire combination that comes in Fujimi's Ferrari Daytona kits - they are very nice.
