I hope all the stores are getting a few of the Revell 29 kits - I’m hoping to pick a couple up next weekend.

My local Michael’s still has stock of the DEUCE kits, so I don’t suppose they’ll be stocking the Model A anytime soon...

Couldn't fine anything in the whole store worth standing in the long checkout line for today, not even with the coupon.

There are days I find nothing and buy an extra can of Testors Dullcote with the coupon. And I hear ya, if the lines look long I just leave!

And if I do find something and wind up in the long line, I make sure everyone on that line knows about the coupon!

Since all the shows have been cancelled this year (so far) I grabbed this here.

Wish they would make a four food version...

Just saw the website.  The 1/24 and 1/25 car kits have been marked down from $29.00 to $18.00.  How long do these mark downs go for?

Doesn't that mean items with yellow price tags?  As in, don't expect 40% off closeout items like those $7.49 '65 Riviera kits.

If nearly everything is 40% off, grab whatever you "need" and use the coupon on something else, like a Molotow pen or a can of spray paint.

I notice in the ad they've got markers on sale this week too, so maybe Molotows will also be cheap.

Had no idea that they close on Sundays ?

That’s also what the lot looked like during the quarantine!

Went to Deerfield and Niles this morning; nobody was Hoovering up kits like when they were on $7.49 clearance, and neither cashier had heard about the discount (both remarked they'd never seen kits on sale like that). I'm guessing there isn't quite the profit margin for resellers, maybe?

I went to 3 HL today and bought a few kits. I was searching for the Lindberg 1966 Chevelle kit but there were none. If I order from them on line it come in for around $23. That might be my option.  All the model kits are 40% off. The employees were flabbergasted and they said HL has never done this before. Are they trying to make room for new kits? I've already gotten the 64 Plymouth.

My HL checker today said, "We don't do that very often,"  about the 40% off deal.  She mentioned That Guy we all know about, one dude who came in and bought a whole cart full of kits.  I restrained myself to only buying one kit, a second MPC "Deserter" '84 GMC pickup.

Still no re-stock of the '67 Impala 4-dr in this store, or I would have bought one of those.  The only new kits I saw were both big trucks, the Ford Snowplow and the Autocar dump.

A manager at my local store told me about a guy who comes in nearly every day and buys all the clearance kits. Last time in the store, I saw two kits and bought them both half just to screw him up! ?
