espo Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Very nice looking build. I like the late '50's White Walls and the color looks great.
tmb727 Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Very clean and nice. How did you do the pattern on the side spear? Looks great.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 That is amazing looking, very sharp. Very realistic.
AmericanMuscleFan Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Superb job Jeff! Super clean build and top notch job on the Bare Metal foil on all the moldings. To be confused with the real car! Well done sir!!!
Tommy124 Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Very nice build, great color scheme and detailing. To me it looks like you re-did the chrome parts with Alclad. Am I correct?
peekay Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 In spite of the kit's problems that is a fine looking model.

Just foiled over-top. 12 hours ago, Tommy124 said: Very nice build, great color scheme and detailing. To me it looks like you re-did the chrome parts with Alclad. Am I correct? Thanks. Yes. Alcad 2
my66s55 Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 You did exceptionally fine work on detail. Everything was great until you showed under the hood. The problem is the engine. Two things. It's the wrong color. Plymouth engines in 1958 were silver. The 318 poly A block engine valve covers were gold. 2nd thing, it is a combo of the A block and B block. As a request of a member of this forum in circa 1916, I created a correct A block engine for this model and I assume that you weren't aware of these things. The single 4 bbl version exists in my 59 Plymouth convertible. The substitution of a raised block B engine with trans attached is also not accurate, as it could be a 727 trans. The 58 user the old cast iron A-488 trans. Some members of this forum possess my A block version.
David G. Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Beautifully Done! Love the color and the detail work, very clean build. David G.
Tyler62990 Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Great looking build! Cool to see what not done in the usual Christine style.
MrObsessive Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Yes! While I'm not a real big fan of this kit, this IS a VERY well done build! Nice, crisp and super clean! That's how I like to see 'em!
Supernurd Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 People put this one down for various reasons, but you pulled it straight to the top! Outstanding work. I can't stop looking at it.
