Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2 Street version(993)

This is an old kit I started way back, and it’s the first model i complete in 15 years! I believe I started this one back in 2006, I cut out the door and made the door jam and painted the body and most of the parts. And then it sat. I picked it up and had to do a quick tuchoup on the paint and also applied clear with the airbrush for the first time. 

some extra details as the key on the dash and hydraulic drift brake.
 

far from perfect but good for my standard, and best of al! It’s done!!

Shoot it outside at 11.30pm(23.30) and bare with me it’s more than one picture.. love that as btw..

Looks great Anton. I love the color. Last November I retired from working at a printing company and the last two years they were printing Porsche Panorama magazine. There are always great quality photos in it.

Thanks! I believe they are from some tamiya Rally car, can’t tell from what any longer and the rears received a aoshima dish and was painted, also the rear tires are built from two sets of tires to get the right width.

Thanks! No I did only open up the drivers door, and it’s not hinged in such a way that in can be closed. It’s actually glued in that position. ?

Those are similar but the Advan’s have concave spokes, which is nicer looking in my opinion, these are more flat.

Better picture: only SSR decals.
